Agency for Workforce Innovation (AWI) Veterans’ Program - Involves the provision of priority workforce services to veteran customers which include: job referrals, job development, referrals to training and supportive services, case management, labor market information, resumé assistance, employability workshops, etc.
The Career and Service Center in Clewiston is staffed with one Veterans’ representative to help you on your job search. They team with you and provide coaching, mentoring, and practical guidance to assist you in your job search process. In addition, the center offers:
- Resumé preparation and critique assistance
- Career and skills assessment
- Workshops on resumé creation, the job search process, applications and interview skills
- Refresher computer workshops
- Referral to individualized training opportunities
- Employment counseling
- Access to our jobs web site
